Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentarians Bilawal Bhutto has demanded Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take notice of situation in his constituency NA 200 where polling station was attacked. He claimed that voters were denied to enter polling ststaion of Shah Muhammad school.

Talking to mediamen, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentarians Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claimed that voters were denied to enter Shah Muhammad School polling station of NA 200 Larkana.

He expressed dissatisfaction over security arrangements placed by ECP with the help of Pakistan Army and said that suicide blast outside a polling station in Quetta and attack on PPP polling camp in Larkana were grave incidents. Over 30 persons were killed in a suicde bomb blast. Suicide bomber targetted convoy of DIG Police Abdul Razaaq Cheema outside Tameer e Nau School polling station on Eastern Bypass Quetta. Information suggest that DIG escaped the attack but his guards were injured critically. Four injured were shifted to hospital in very critical condition.

It is pertinent to mention that at least four persons were critically injured outside Shah Muhammad School polling station of NA 200 Larkana when a cracker was thrown on the polling camp of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentarians.

It may be mentioned that polling for electing new parliament in Pakistan was started today at 8 am under tight security provided by Pakistan Army.

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has placed 17,007 polling stations as “highly sensitive”. Pakistan Army is helping Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in manning the process. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentarians, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are main contenders while Awami National Party, Balochistan Awami Party and Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) are also actively contesting General Elections 2018

105.95 million registered voters include 59.22 million male voters and 46.73 million female voters.

As many as 85,058 polling stations having 244,687 polling booths have been placed manned by 819,119 polling staff.
