ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) Chief Akhtar Mengal on Thursday put forward five demands before Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to support Imran Khan-led party in the Central government.
Demands were raised when a PTI delegation consisting of Naeem-ul-Haq and Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind met Akhtar Mengal at Balochistan House in Islamabad, and sought cooperation to make the government in the Center.
Sources said that the PTI delegation also asked the BNP-M Chief to hold a one-on-one meeting with the Chairman PTI Imran Khan.
Later talking to media, Naeem-ul-Haq said their meeting with Akhtar Mengal remained positive, and his demands were not new. He said they would present BNP demands before Imran Khan.
The PTI leader said Imran Khan wanted to resolve problems of Balochistan. He said Imran Khan would be the first leader who would resolve issue of Balochistan.
Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind said PTI had made a decision to make an alliance with Balochistan Awami Party.
Akhtar Mengal said previous rulers did not focus on the problems of Balochistan. He said PTI wanted BNP to join the government. He said recovery of missing persons was their first demand.
