The Coke Studio 11 has launched its third track of episode 2 “Rasha Mama” featuring 3 generations of Pashto music. “Rasha Mama” has recorded in the voice of “Zarsanga” and “Gul Panra” along with Khumariyaan band. This track has brought great diversity and entirely different flavor of music.

The original track has sung by Queen of Pashtun Folklore, Zarsanga. Coke Studio has brought a flavor of modern music to the traditional folk “Rasha Mama”. They have presented a classic piece of melody in the amazing voice of Queen of Pashto.

Miss Kia, a French researcher, worked with Radio France once said, Zarsanga’s voice was the only mountainous voice in Pashto Language. Zarsanga has enthralled thousands of Pashtuns in her captivating voice. She has been to UK, France, America, Dubai, Iraq, Germany and Belgium and has fascinated many people around the globe.

While Gul Panra has featured twice in Coke Studio. She made her first debut “Man Aamadeh Am” with Pakistani rock star Atif Aslam in Season 8. She has got fame in quite short time due to her appearance in Coke Studio.

Pashto music band Khumariyaan has represented Pakistan in United States, United Kingdom, Ireland and other countries. Khumariyaan is a rock fusion band comprises of four members including Shiraz Khan, Farhan Bogra, Aamer Shafiq and Sparlay Rawail.
Produced and directed by Zohaib Kazi and Ali Hamza, Coke Studio 11 is already giving outstanding renditions and has been creating more hype over social media with every single release.
