In the first phase, the registration process is being carried out as a pilot projects in 7 districts which include Faisalabad, Sukkur (Sindh), Quetta (Balochistan), Dera Ismail Khan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Islamabad (Islamabad Capital Territory – ICT), Gilgit (Gilgit Baltistan) and Muzaffarabad (Azad Jammu & Kashmir – AJK).

Low-cost houses will also be built in Multan, Lahore, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot, Vehari, Bahawalpur, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Kasur and Layyah.

Who is Eligble for Naya Pakistan Housing scheme will bring Economic Opportunities

As per the government, the program will trigger economic activity across the Country leading to shelter to low-income class of the society, employment generation for youth, growth of industries directly or indirectly linked with housing sector, human resource development, infrastructure development, local economy development, foreign investment, and gross domestic product (GDP) growth.

While launching the ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Program’ on October 10, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that construction activity would be undertaken by the private sector while the government would serve as a facilitator.

The prime minister also announced the establishment of ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Authority’ in 90 days to create a One Window Facility to facilitate and regulate the private sector through an enabling environment. He said that a ‘Land Bank’ would be established in 60 days to identify land with the federal government, housing ministry, provincial governments and local bodies for the construction of houses.

Who is eligible for Naya Pakistan Scheme?

  • As per the Eligibility criteria of the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, Only one deserving person per family can apply in this scheme.
  • First priority would be for those individuals who do not own any real estate property in Pakistan.
  • The focus of this project it facilitates those have a monthly income around Rs10,000-25,000.
  • All the personnel will deposit PKR 250 along with this registration form that can be downloaded below.
  • The housing authority will have full power to decide the design, price, and locations of the site.

Where to Submit forms and fees for Naya Pakistan?

The form along with Rs 250 as registration fee can be submitted at designated district housing program offices and NADRA registration centers from October 22, 2018, to December 21, 2018.
