ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to participate in the All Parties Conference (APC); however, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif will not attend the Conference to be held in Islamabad on October 31.
The decision was taken when a PML-N’s Joint Parliamentary Meeting was held at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Tuesday, which was also attended by the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the President PML-N Shahbaz Sharif.
Hamza Shahbaz, Raja Zafar Ul Haq, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Asif, Pervez Rasheed, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Asif Kirmani, Chaudhry Tanveer, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Marriyum Aurangzeb were also present in the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting that a five-member delegation headed by Raja Zafar Ul Haq would attend the APC. Other members of the delegation will include Khawaja Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Ahsan Iqbal.
Sources said that it was also decided that the PML-N leadership would walk alongside the rest of the opposition parties in matters of national importance.
Sources said that the party also discussed the matters pertaining to overall political situation in the Country and NAB Cases.
Earlier on October 28, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman also met Nawaz Sharif and tried to persuade him to attend the APC; however, the latter didn’t agree.
