ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The visiting Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met his Pakistani Counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi at the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Thursday, during which, they agreed to enhance Pak-Uzbek bilateral cooperation in various fields (Pak-Uzbek cooperation).
The meeting followed the arrival of the Uzbek foreign minister along with a five-member delegation in Islamabad on his second visit to Pakistan this year.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on increasing the bilateral ties and cooperation in different sectors.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan and Uzbekistan have deeper ties. He said that our relations are based upon mutual trust and stronger cultural and religious ties.
Qureshi said that the visit of Uzbek foreign minister to Pakistan will further strengthen the mutual cooperation between the two Countries.
Following the one-on-one meeting, delegation level talks were also held at which Shah Mahmood Qureshi led the Pakistani delegations while Abdulaziz Kamilov led the Uzbek delegation.

The Uzbek foreign minister will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
