ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) and the Sri Lankan High Commission will organize a Conference on “Enduring Friendship between Sri Lanka and Pakistan” at Pakistan National Arts Council (PNCA) in Islamabad on February 6.

The Conference will begin with the Opening Remarks of the President CGSS Major General (retd) Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery.

The former High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka Major General (retd) Shakeel Hussain will deliver a Speech on “Security and Economic Aspects of Pakistan-Sri Lanka Relations”.

The Director General South Asia and SAARC at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombo Yasaja Gunasekara will Speak on “Witnessing the Relationship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka” while the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan Noordeen Mohamed Shaheid will shed a light on “Enduring friendship between Sri Lanka and Pakistan”.

The aforesaid addresses will be followed by the Chief Guest’s Speech and five minutes documentary on Sri Lanka.

In the end, the Sri Lankan Army Cultural Troupe will also give a performance.
