ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) on Thursday hosted a farewell in the honor of Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan Sherali Jononov at Serena Hotel in Islamabad.
The CGSS delegation members thanked and applauded the Tajik ambassador Sherali Jononov for his continuous efforts in making various projects a success over the years, jointly carried out by the CGSS and the Embassy of Republic of Tajikistan in Islamabad.
They said that Sherali Jononov’s sincere efforts played a vital role in the enhancement of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
Prominent personalities who attended the farewell included Sherali Jononov, the President CGSS Major General (retd) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery, the former Federal Secretary of Information & Broadcasting and Senior Member Advisory Board CGSS Ashfaq Ahmed Gondal, the First Secretary at Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Islamabad Bahodur Buriev, and the Executive Director CGSS Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Khalid Taimur Akram.
Meanwhile, a two-member CGSS delegation consisting of Major General (retd) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery and Lt Colonel (retd) Khalid Taimur Akram visited the Mauritius High Commission in Islamabad, and met the High Commissioner of Mauritius Rashidally SOOBADAR.
During the meeting, it was decided that that CGSS and Mauritius High Commission will work together for the promotion of tourism and exchange programs.
