ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Secretary General Arshad Dad has directed all office bearers of the party to organize comprehensive plantation drives across the Country.
According to the details issued by the PTI Central Media Department on Saturday, Arshad Dad said that the party will actively participate in government’s “Plant for Pakistan” drive.
Arshad Dad said that Pakistan tops the list among the Countries most affected by the climate change.
Praising Prime Minister Imran Khan’s commitment towards environmental crisis, he said that Imran Khan has stirred the spirit of conservation of environment in masses.
“PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s initiative “Billion Tree Tsunami” was internationally acknowledged and praised”, he said.
The PTI secretary general further said that we need to plant trees to mitigate climate change and urged the party workers to raise awareness among masses about climate change and importance of plantation.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the 2019 Spring Tree Plantation Campaign at Balloki near Nankana Sahib to mark the Plant for Pakistan Campaign.
