ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The aspirants will submit their applications to perform Hajj in 2019 under the government Hajj scheme from February 25 to March 6 while the computerized balloting will take place on March 8.
The intending Hujjaj (Pilgrims) will have to submit their respective applications in 14 designated Banks i.e designated Habib Bank Limited, United Bank Limited, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), MCB Bank Limited, Allied Bank Limited, Bank of Punjab, Meezan Bank, Bank Al-Falah, Bank Al-Habib, Zarai Taraqiati Bank, Faysal Bank, Habibmetro Bank Limited, Aksari Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank.
As per the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, a total of 1,84,210 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj in 2019.

Under the government Hajj scheme, 1,70,526 people whereas under the private scheme 71,684 people will be eligible to perform Hajj.
Hajj dues under the government scheme will be Rs 436,975 for Northern region which includes Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Sialkot, Faisalabad Multan and Rahim Yar Khan while Rs 426,975 will be received for Southern region which includes Karachi, Quetta and Sukkur.
Qurbani charges Rs 19,451 will be optional and there shall be no free Hajj this year.

In 2019, 10,000 seats would be reserved for senior citizen above the age of 80 years while another 10,000 seats would be reserved for persons who have been unsuccessful in ballot continuously for the last three years.
Under the government scheme, 1.5 percent of the total seats will be reserved for hardship cases.
Likewise, 500 seats will be reserved for labour and low paid employees of companies registered with Employees Old Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) and Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) sponsored by their respective organizations under their Corporate Social Responsibility.
