MONITORING DESK: The heavy skirmish continues between Pakistani and Indian forces at the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary while two Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets have been shot down in Kashmir region.

Two Indian Fighter Jets Show Down by Pakistan

One of the IAF fighter jets went down at Garend Kalan village, 7 Kilometer from Budgam district of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), while the second jet shot down in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).

Two Indian pilots were killed as their jets went down while one pilot was taken into custody by Pakistani forces.

Meanwhile, there are reports of continues exchange of fire at the LoC and the Working Boundary.

Sources privy to the border situation have also revealed multiple casualties in both sides of the borders.

Pakistan Strikes Back

Multiple reports also suggest that Pakistan army personnel have advanced to Indian posts and captured them, forcing Indian forces to flee.

The strong retaliation from Pakistan armed forces followed an Indian claim as having intruded into Pakistani airspace and destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Camp and killed nearly 300 militants near Balakot, a town in Mansehra district of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

However, Pakistan denied Indian claims saying neither any strike occurred nor any JeM Camp was destroyed.

While addressing a media briefing on Tuesday evening, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that India is using lies and deceit to lodge propaganda against Pakistan and there has been no attack on Pakistani soil.

The director general ISPR also warned India to get ready for Pakistan’s response that will come differently and as a surprise.
