LAHORE: Chief of Pakistan Muslim-N (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif has said that, if he came into power, an enquiry would be conducted against former army chief General (retd) Pervez Musharraf and other ex-army generals for their involvement in the Kargil incident.
He said that he will uphold the doctrine of civilian dominancy over the military.
In his interview to an Indian television, Nawaz said no issue can be resolved at gun point. The PML-N chief said all options including dialogue should be used to resolve the issue of terrorism and militancy in Pakistan.
Nawaz said the Kargil commission should unveil facts which should also be shared with India.
