ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Inauguration Ceremony of “Azerbaijan Study Center” – dedicated to 96th birth anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, National Leader of Azerbaijan – will be held in Islamabad on May 2 under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan and National Library of Pakistan.

According to Dispatch News Desk (DND) News Agency while citing Embassy of Azerbaijan reported that the ceremony will be held from 11:45 am to 01:00 pm on May 2, 2019 (Thursday) at National Library of Pakistan in Islamabad.

The Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, and Federal Minister for National History and Literary Heritage Shafqat Mahmood will be the Chief Guest at the event.

The event will begin with welcome remarks by the Federal Secretary; National History and Literary Heritage Division Aamir Hasan followed by the address of Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Alizada.

The Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood will also address the participants while the Director of National Library of Pakistan Syed Ghayour Husain will deliver a vote of thanks.

Later, the inauguration of the “Azerbaijan Study Center” will be carried out.
