MIANWALI, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday made it clear that the process of accountability would continue without any discrimination, and no influence or pressure would be tolerated from any side in that regard.

While speaking at groundbreaking ceremony of a Hospital at NAMAL Institute in Mianwali on Friday afternoon, the prime minister revealed that some people incarcerated on corruption charges tried to influence him through recommendations from outside the Country.

The prime minister said most of corruption cases against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders were instituted during the tenure of the previous government.

Responding to allegations of political victimization, Imran Khan said various cases were made against him in the previous government-led by PML-N but he stood bravely against those fabricated charges and was eventually cleared by the Courts.

Imran Khan expressed optimism that difficult economic period would be over and the Country would become prosperous in the future. He said the government would increase investment on human development once the economic situation improved.

Talking about the Hospital at NAMAL Institute in Mianwali, the prime minister said the construction of a state of the art hospital in a backward area would help the local population receive medical care.

Imran Khan urged the big philanthropists to adopt government hospitals in improving their services.
