The following is the procedure for obtaining an NOC (Approval of Building Plans) from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in respect of construction on plots:

Residential Plots

(i) Form A1, A2 duly signed by the allottee/owner and Architect/Engineer

(ii) Six copies of architectural drawings duly signed by CDA licensed Architect.

(iii) Six copies of structural’ drawings duly signed by CDA licensed Structural, Engineer.

(iv) Attested copy of allotment/transfer letter duly attested

(v) Attested copy of NIC of allottee.

(vi) Indemnity Bond on stamp paper for approval duly signed by the ‘owner & witnesses.

(vii) Attested copy of Possession letter.

(viii) Scrutiny fee as applicable.

Commercial Plots

The commercial plot cases are scrutinized checked and approved by Design Vetting Committee (DVC), further the cases are processed as fellows:

Owner / lessee will submit the building plans for approval on prescribed A-1, A-2 forms dully filled with 6 prints of Architectural and Structural drawings, engineer certificate, calculation book, soil report, vetting consultant certificate and firefighting drawings as per Fire Safety Policy-2016.

It is worth noting that 21 days are required for issuance of NOC (Approval of building plan) by the CDA for construction on a residential plot.
