ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended the federal government to decrease the prices of all petroleum products for October 2019.

As per the recommendation of the OGRA, the prices of petroleum products will be reduced by up to Rs 3.23 per litre.

The price of high speed diesel (HSD) will be slashed by Rs 3.23 per litre, petrol by Rs 2.55 per litre, and light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs 2.41 per litre.

However, the OGRA proposed to increase the price of kerosene oil by Rs 1.19 per litre.

The Summary has been forwarded to the Petroleum Division. If approved, the new prices of petroleum products will be implemented from October 1, 2019.

After the approval, the new price of HSD will be Rs 123.91 per litre, petrol Rs 110.69 per litre, LDO Rs 89.48 per litre and kerosene oil Rs 100.76 per litre.
