ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In a bid to facilitate general public to have an access to the legislature, the Speaker of the House Asad Qaiser on Friday inaugurated the ‘Common Man’s Gallery’ in National Assembly Hall and the Counter at the Parliament House reception.

After the initiative, any Pakistani citizen can witness the Session of the Lower House of the Parliament by showing his/her Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC).

However guests coming to witness proceedings of the House will not be allowed to bring mobile phone, tape recorder, weapon, umbrella, camera, hand bags, book and stick in the gallery.

The special staff will be deputed at the Parliament House reception to help the citizens.

In his remarks while inaugurating the ‘Common Man’s Gallery’ in National Assembly, Asad Qaiser said that the initiative will enable the general public to witness the NA proceedings and meet their representatives.
