RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistan Army Sepoy Wajid Ali embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with the Indian troops in the Shahkot Sector along the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a statement on Tuesday, the ISPR said that the Indian army troops resorted to unprovoked fire in the Shahkot Sector along the LoC with heavy weapons.
The ISPR said that the Pakistan army responded effectively targeting those posts which initiated fire, inflicted heavy losses on the enemy in terms of men and material.
It said that during the exchange of fire, 20-year-old brave soldier Sepoy Wajid Ali, a resident of District Dadu, valiantly responding to Indian ceasefire violation embraced Shahadat.
