The federal as well as provincial governments have already flexed their muscles to tackle the exponentially growing Cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across Pakistan.

The Novel Coronavirus has already killed six persons and infected a total of 892 people in Pakistan mostly in Sindh wherein 399 Cases have been detected as of March 23.

In Punjab, 249 Coronavirus Cases have so far been confirmed, 110 in Balochistan, 80 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 38 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and one in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).

Though most number of Cases have been detected in pilgrims who recently arrived from neighboring Iran but the tally of Locally Transmitted Cases of COVID-19 are also on the rise.

By March 23, 134 Coronavirus Cases had surfaced in Sindh apart from the Cases found in pilgrims quarantined in Sukkur, and of them 83 Cases were of Local Transmission.
