ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Defence of Australia Linda Reynolds CSC had a virtual meeting with the Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak on Monday.

Both the ministers agreed that there exists a great deal of cooperation between Pakistan and Australia to further enhance and expand their bilateral defence ties. The Pervez Khattak further emphasized that Pakistan is not only committed to both the regional and global peace but is also ready to welcome any step taken in this regard. The federal minister also briefed the Australian Counterpart about the role played by the armed forces of Pakistan in efforts against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both the ministers agreed that there exists a great deal of cooperation between Pakistan and Australia to further enhance and expand their bilateral defence ties.

The Pervez Khattak further emphasized that Pakistan is not only committed to both the regional and global peace but is also ready to welcome any step taken in this regard.

The federal minister also briefed the Australian Counterpart about the role played by the armed forces of Pakistan in efforts against the COVID-19 pandemic.
