RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met the Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salaman bin Abdulaziz.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral defence, security cooperation, and regional security were discussed, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
The Director-General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed was also present in the meeting.
“Met today with my brother, H.E. General Qamar Bajwa, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff. We discussed bilateral relations, military cooperation, and our common vision for preserving regional security,” His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salaman tweeted.
Earlier on Monday, the COAS reached the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on an official visit and met the Chief of General Staff General Fayiadh bin Ha’med Al-Rowaily and the Commander Joint Forces Lieutenant General Fahad bin Turki Al Saud.
The Pakistan-Saudia Arabia military to military ties including training exchanges were discussed in the meetings.
