ISLAMABAD: A petition has been filed in Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) against alleged riggings in recent general elections.

The petition has been filed by advocate Tariq Asad under Article-184-C of the Constitution, against the Election Commission of Pakistan, NADRA and TV anchor persons.

The petitioner has requested the apex Court to hold all results of those constituencies, where complaints of riggings had been file and same action should be taken in those constituencies, where partial complaints of riggings had been received.

Moreover, he has appealed to the court that the ballot papers should be verified with thumbs impressions for authentication of the casted votes.
