ISLAMABAD: He has taken the charge following as the Chief Election Fakhruddin G Ibrahim is on a foreign tour.

Justice Tassadaq Hussain Jilani took oath of office as acting Chief Election Commissioner in Islamabad today.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry administered the oath.
