PESHAWAR: A bomb blast took place in Peshawar’s Budh Berh area on early Friday that left a member of the peace committee killed, police said.

Police said that the bomb went off as it was detonated through a remote controlled Improvised Explosive Device (IED) outside the house of peace committee member located in front of Budh Berh station.

Later, police cordoned off the area and started an investigation. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.
