NEW DEHLI: Pakistan says India is violating 2008’s agreement regarding consular access to its prisoners in Indian jails.

India has denied consular access to one hundred and ninety-seven (197) Pakistani prisoners in its jails in violation of relevant bilateral agreement reached 2008.

Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has informed Foreign Office that four hundred and sixty-nine (469) Pakistani prisoners are languishing in Indian Jails.

These prisoners include one hundred and sixty-four fishermen and three hundred and five other prisoners.
