Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity rate stands at 10.29%

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan recorded the COVID-19 positivity rate of 10.29% on April 11 as out of 44,514 tests conducted in the last 24 hours across the Country, 4,584 returned positive.

Besides, the virus also caused 58 more casualties in the Country mostly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In the last 24 hours, 33 COVID-19 patients breathed their last in KPK, 16 in Punjab, 4 each in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 in Sindh.

The latest statistics by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) showed that now the total number of Coronavirus Cases across the Country has risen to 725,602.

Out of them, 269,126 Cases have emerged in Sindh, 250,459 in Punjab, 99,595 in KPK, 66,380 in Islamabad, 20,321 in Balochistan, 14,594 in AJK, and 5,127 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Similarly, a total of 15,501 COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the disease so far in the Country including 6,988 in Punjab, 4,530 in Sindh, 2,651 in KPK, 611 in ICT, 403 in AJK, 215 in Balochistan, and 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The data further showed that 634,835 patients have so far recovered from the infection in the Country while 75,266 are still under treatment.
