Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity ratio declines to 2.59%

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The nationwide COVID-19 positivity ratio stood at 2.59% on June 13 as 1,019 people were found having the infection out of 39,214 tested for Coronavirus, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

In the last 24 hours, 34 COVID-19 patients breathed their last across the Country. Out of them, 15 hailed from Punjab, 8 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7 from Sindh, 3 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 from Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

So far a total of 942,189 Coronavirus Cases have been detected in the Country.

Of them, 344,065 Cases have been reported in Punjab, 328,184 in Sindh, 136,074 in KPK, 82,139 in ICT, 26,232 in Balochistan, 19,783 in AJK, and 5,712 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Whereas out of 21,723 COVID-19 deaths recorded to date in the Country, 10,516 have been registered in Punjab, 5,243 in Sindh, 4,224 in KPK, 772 in Islamabad, 566 in AJK, 294 in Balochistan, and 108 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

As of June 24, 878,740 patients have recovered from the disease across the Country while 41,726 still remain under treatment.
