RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Defence Forces of Kenya General Robert Kariuki Kibochi, who is on an official visit to Pakistan, held a meeting with the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that matters of bilateral professional interest and further strengthening of security and defence cooperation between Pakistan and Kenya were discussed during the meeting.
Both sides also deliberated upon the prevailing international and regional security environment.
General Robert Kariuki Kibochi lauded the professionalism of Pakistan armed forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
Earlier, on arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, a smartly turned out tri-services contingent presented the ‘guard of honour’ to the visiting dignitary.
