ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan administered 425,640 doses of COVID-19 vaccine on July 5, the highest ever since the vaccination drive kicked off in the Country.

So far, 17,815,986 people have been vaccinated against Coronavirus in the Country.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process against COVID-19 is underway across the Country.

The people can register themselves by sending the CNIC number to 1166. After registration, they can walk into any vaccination center for vaccination.

In the last 24 hours, further 830 people tested positive and 25 infected persons breathed their last across the Country.

In the last 24 hours, 37,364 COVID-19 tests were conducted and the positivity ratio remained 2.22%.

Out of total fatalities recorded on July 5, 10 deaths were registered in Punjab, 8 in Sindh, 3 each in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and 1 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

To date, a total of 964,490 Coronavirus Cases and 22,452 deaths have been detected in the Country.

Of them, Punjab has registered 347,014 Cases and 10,786 deaths, Sindh 341,275 Cases and 5,528 deaths, KPK 138,616 Cases and 4,343 deaths, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) 83,048 Cases and 780 deaths, Balochistan 27,445 Cases and 315 deaths, AJK 20,588 Cases and 589 deaths, and Gilgit-Baltistan 6,504 Cases and 111 deaths.

The Country has so far recorded 908,648 recoveries from the virus while currently, the total active COVID-19 Cases in Pakistan are 33,390.
