LAHORE: The Punjab government would hold local body elections within six months in the province, Senior Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah said.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader said that the government would revive the system of councilors, municipal committees and district councils by holding local government elections in Punjab.
Rana Sanaullah said that funds would be allocated in provincial budget for holding of local body elections.
