Over 100 million people in Pakistan received at least one COVID dose

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Country achieved another major milestone in the COVID Vaccination Campaign on Monday as the number of people having been administered at least one dose crossed 100 million, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar told.

In a Twitter statement on Tuesday, Asad Umar said that nearly 75 million people in the Country are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The minister however underlined that the work is not complete yet and the momentum must be sustained.

Meanwhile, according to the statistics released by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 811,901 people were vaccinated throughout the Country in the last 24 hours.

The NCOC said that till now, 163,648,656 COVID vaccines have been administered in the Country.

It said that by now, 33% of the Country’s total population and 49% of the eligible population stand vaccinated against COVID-19.

The statistics also showed that further 1,467 Coronavirus Cases emerged in the Country on January 10 with a positivity ratio of 3.33% and 2 more patients died.
