ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has accused the opposition of bribing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNAs to seek their support for no confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Briefing the media persons in Islamabad on Wednesday after the PTI’s Central Executive Committee meeting, the information minister said that three of our MNAs including a minority and a woman member have reported that they have been offered money to give vote in support of no trust motion.

Regretting this posture of the opposition parties, the minister said they will not allow anybody to revive to culture of horse trade in the Country.

Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said that the opposition parties have no courage to bring no confidence motion against the prime minister.

In the PTI’s Central Executive Committee meeting, according to the information minister, the party’s members expressed complete confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The minister said that the prime minister took the meeting into confidence about his Russia’s visit. The meeting appreciated the independent foreign policy being pursued by the government.

The information minister said that in an interview with a Russian television, Prime Minister Imran Khan made it clear that Pakistan will not become part of any bloc.

Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said that the prime minister’s Moscow visit has gained great significance in view of current international scenario. He said that all eyes are now on the meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
