ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with a high-level delegation on Thursday left for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a three-day official visit.

The visit is being undertaken on the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

It is their first visit abroad after assuming the Office earlier in April 2022.

During the visit, the prime minister will have bilateral interaction with the Saudi leadership, with a particular focus on advancing economic, trade, and investment ties and creating of greater opportunities for the Pakistani workforce in Saudi Arabia.

The two sides will also exchange views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, in a Tweeter, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that his visit to Saudi Arabia is aimed at renewing and reaffirming bonds of brotherhood and friendship.

The prime minister said that he will have wide-ranging discussions with the Saudi leadership during the visit.

Shahbaz Sharif said that Saudi Arabia is one of Pakistan’s greatest friends and as Custodian of the two Holy Places, has a special place in our hearts.
