With the growing criticism, trolls and supporters of Imran Khan are also running campaigns to unsubscribe from the YouTube channel run under the organization of Qasim Ali Shah.
What Went Wrong
The incident stemmed from Qasim Ali Shah’s recent meetings with top political leaders, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chief Imran Khan.
As the clips of his rare interactions went viral, social media users deemed that Qasim Ali Shah was sent by ruling alliance members who tried to convince Imran Khan to change his stance on accountability.
The public figure spoke with a private news channel in a beeper, in which he accused the PTI chief of putting his hand on the matters that should be left for judgment day.
He also questioned Imran Khan’s accountability process, accusing him of favouritism for picking people for coveted slots, including Punjab Chief Ministership.
