WASHINGTON: The United States said Islamabad and Washington have broad counterterrorism cooperation and continue to have conversation in this regard.
This was stated by Patrick Ventrel the State Department spokesperson while briefing newsmen in Washington.
The spokesperson said John Kerry wants to visit Pakistan to engage with the government and civil society leaders on wide-ranging areas of cooperation.
Date for the visit has not yet been announced.
The spokesperson said the visit of US Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan James Dobbins is continuation of high-level engagement with Islamabad.
