MUMBAI: The Mumbai police asked a court for permission to put SurajPancholi, accused of allegedly abetting his actor-girlfriend Jiah Khan’s suicide, through the highly controversial narco-analysis test. The Court will hear the police’s application on Monday. But according to the law, the accused has the right to refuse a narco-test.
Suraj’s lawyer Zamir Khan said to a newspaper that they would do just that. “We are not going to give our consent to it as Suraj is of tender age,” he said.
Suraj’s custody was earlier extended till June 27. The 22-year-old upcoming actor will now be in jail till July 11.
