CHAMAN: Three women and two children among at least 14 others were killed while seven others sustained injuries when a roadside bomb went off inside the Spin-Boldak territory of Afghanistan near Chaman, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 8 July, 2012.

According to Assistant Commissioner Chaman Habibullah Khan, the blast took place inside Afghanistan in the Spin-Boldak area along the Pak-Afghan border.

Khan said that a mini-truck carrying Afghan nationals, including women and children, was on its way when it hit a landmine planted in the Sheen Naray area of Spin-Boldak.

“The mini-truck, carrying Afghan refugees, had crossed into Afghanistan from the Pakistani side via a Friendship Gate when it met with a mishap,” he said.
