ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: As part of a bureaucratic reshuffle, Shafqat Abbas, a BS-20 Officer of Information Group, has been posted as the Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in Islamabad.
He was previously serving as the Director General at the Press Information Department (PID) in Lahore.
His posting has been made on deputation basis for a period of three years.
“Mr. Shafqat Abbas, a BS-20 Officer of Information Group, presently posted as Director General (PR), RIO, PID, Lahore, is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary (BS-20), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, on deputation basis for a period of three years on standard terms and conditions, with immediate effect and until further orders,” according to a notification issued by the Establishment Division on Thursday.
