ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to hold an All Parties Parliamentary Conference on Friday to consult all political parties on national security policy to curb militancy in the country.
In this connection‚ Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan telephoned leaders of different political parties and invited them to attend the conference.
The Minister extended the invitation on behalf of the Prime Minister.
Interior Minister telephoned Opposition Leader‚ Syed Khurshid Shah‚ leader of Pukhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party‚ Mehmood Khan Achakzai‚ a leader of Baluchistan National Party‚ Sardar Akhtar Mengal‚ MQM leader Farooq Sattar‚ Amir Jamat-e-Islami Munawar Hassan and PML (Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Heads of all political parties in the Parliament will be consulted on the country’s security policy.
