ISLAMABAD: British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Thursday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan will continue cooperation with the world community for establishment of peace in Afghanistan.

The British Foreign Secretary appreciated Pakistan’s role for peace in the region particularly Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan is playing a key role in the war on terror.

Matters relating to cooperation in war on terrorism also came under discussion during the meeting.
