KARACHI: As torrential downpour wreaks havoc across the country, Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) on Sunday forecast more rains in during the next 12 to 24 hours.

It said scattered rain/thundershowers are likely in upper Sindh (Sukkur, Larkana divisions), lower Sindh (Hyderabad, Mirpur divisions), parts of Balochistan (Kalat‚ Sibi‚ Makran), lower Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including trial agencies during the next 12 hours.

It said the current monsoon system in moving toward Balochistan from Sindh and the torrential rains are now expected in Gwadar, Jiwani, Turbat and adjoining areas.
