NEW DELHI: Around 200 members of the Youth Congress gathered near the Pakistan High Commission in Chanakyapuri in central Delhi on Wednesday to protest the killings of five Indian soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir.

Water cannons were used to disperse the protestors and 175 of them were detained. They were later let off.

Protestors also demanded that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh cancel his meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif.

Meanwhile, Indian External Affiars Minister Salman Khursheed said and explanation had been summoned from Pakistan regarding the LoC incident following which the decision would be placed in front of Parliament.
