MUMBAI: Jhanvi Kapoor posting beautiful pictures on a social networking site to gracing red carpet events with her superstar mommy Sridevi, it seems Sridevi’s older daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is gearing up for a big Bollywood debut. Her recent pictures suggest that she wanted to enter in Bollywood life.
After Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, the legacy of star kids foraying into Bollywood continued with veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha, who not only made a grand entry, but soon became one of the leading ladies of today’s Hindi cinema. And the debuts continue – as our favourite Hawa Hawaai actor Sridevi turns 50 today, we found some cute pictures of her dearest daughter Jhanvi Kapoor that certainly suggest a star is in the making!
Like Govinda’s daughter Narmmadaa Ahuja, who grabbed the limelight when she walked the red carpet with Salman Khan at IIFA six years ago, Sri’s daughter Jhanvi too started accompanying her star mother to several dos a couple of years ago. And she is a pretty young thing, seemingly all set to follow in her mum’s filmi footsteps. From dance classes to sweating it out at the gym, Jhanvi has done it all and we hear the aspiring actor is leaving no stone unturned to see that she debuts with the right project.
Jhanvi has been spotted by the fashion industry already – compliments have been bestowed upon the 16-year-old for her style sense even as she has been getting offers to walk the ramp. However, her protective mother has made it very clear that Jhanvi won’t be seen in the limelight away from her parents any time soon. “She is only 15. Give her some space to make up her mind about what she wants to do with her life. Jhanvi is studying. I’d like her to finish a formal education before she chooses her career,” said Sridevi last year at a media event.
Last year, rumour mills were abuzz with news that Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter would soon make her debut in a Karan Johar film. Our khabroo insists that KJo has assured Sri and Boney that he will launch Jhanvi when the time comes. But considering the Chaalbaaz actor’s statement regarding her sweet lil child, it looks like we’re going to have to wait a while for that to happen. But one thing we are sure of is that whichever profession Jhanvi decides to embark upon, the vibrant chick will do just as well as her mother. What say, peeps?
