Two persons including a man and a woman were killed as a result of unprovoked Indian army shelling at Nakyal this morning.

In Azad Kashmir‚ two persons including a man and a woman were killed and five others injured seriously as a result of unprovoked Indian army shelling at Nakyal sector on Line of Control this morning.

Deputy Commissioner Kotli Masoodur Rehman told Radio Pakistan correspondent Saeed Ahmad that the Indian troops resorted to unprovoked shelling late last night which is still continuing.

He said that the Indian troops have directly targeted civilian populations for the first time since their violations of the Line of Control.

He said that so far two civilian people have been martyred and 18 injured since the violation of the cease fire by the Indian troops.
