KOHAT: Two policemen were injured in a roadside blast in Shadikhel in the limits of Bilitang Police Station on Saturday, the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 29 September, 2012.
A party of Shadikhel Police Post headed by Assistant Sub-Inspector Anwar Shah was on routine patrol when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by the militants went off, sources said.
The officials of the bomb disposal unit said that 10 kilograms of explosives were used in the blast.
