KARACHI: A close relative of Senator and President of Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh chapter Shahi Syed was shot dead in Karachi’s Orangi town no 4 on Friday, police said.
Police said that Syed Lal Darwaish, the victim, was killed after unknown gunmen started shooting in Karachi’s Orangi town no 4. They said Darwaish was serving as the president of ANP Frontier Colony Ward.
His body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Tension gripped the area after the incident.
