ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday decided to hold local bodies elections in cantonment boards across the country on November 3, 2013.
A meeting of the ECP was held in Islamabad on Tuesday with acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jilani in the chair to review the issue of holding of local bodies elections in the cantonment boards.
Senior officials from defense ministry, Pakistan Army and NADRA also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the acting Chief Election Commissioner regretted delay in holding of local bodies polls in the cantonment boards.
