GILGIT: Police have arrested the key accused involved in the killing of a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and two army officers in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chilas area last month, police said on Thursday.
On August 6, unknown gunmen opened fire on a government convoy in Chilas area, killing SSP Diamer Muhammad Hilal and two army officers Colonel Ghulam Mustafa and Captain Ashfaq Aziz on the spot.
Police said that killer Hamidullah was arrested from Kohistan who was involved in the killing of two army officers and a policeman.
