KHAR: Two members of Salarzai peace committee, a local pro-government tribal militia, were killed and four others injured when a remote controlled bomb exploded while they were digging at an excavation site in the tribal Bajaur region on Saturday, officials said.
The incident occurred in the mountainous area of Darra in Salarzai tehsil, 30 kilometres northeast of Khar, the main town of Bajaur agency. The injured were shifted to agency headquarters hospital in Khar.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.
