PakistanImran Khan supports Hazara community’s demand for army take over in Quetta

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan said on Monday that army should be summoned in Quetta as demanded by the Hazara community, adding that the constitution authorizes the government to seek army support to control the law and order situation, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

In a press conference in Islamabad, PTI Chairman said that the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi should know that their acts were terrorism and not Islamic.

“I am telling Lashkar-e-Jhangvi that is not Islam,” Imran said.

PTI Chairman said that grave injustices were being carried out against the residents of Quetta and the Hazara community, adding that his party will carry out protests at all four headquarters to show solidarity with the Hazara community.

Imran further said the militancy has crossed its limits and he had never seen such a failed government in the history of Pakistan.

Commenting on the elections, PTI Chairman said the general elections were the solution to all problems, adding that those who wanted to delay the elections were enemies of the country.

Meanwhile, Imran called for the government to immediately announce compensation for the families of the Quetta tragedy victims.
